Storytelling through the cut.
Welcome to My Portfolio
I started in film - building environments and doing licensed artwork for studios like Lucasfilm and Sony, then cutting my teeth in VFX at The Orphanage in San Francisco. Along the way I learned the thing that never changes no matter the format: an edit isn't really about the footage, it's about the feeling you're building frame by frame.
I've spent my career learning that a great story doesn't announce itself; it's built, cut by cut, until the right moment lands exactly where it should. That's the thread running through everything I've worked on, from film environments and licensed artwork for studios like Lucasfilm and Sony, to VFX work at The Orphanage VFX, to the editing I do today.

The Vision Behind My Work
Every project starts the same way for me: what does this person or brand actually want someone to feel, and where does the story naturally build toward that? Editing, at its heart, isn't assembly: it's pacing, rhythm, and knowing exactly which frame earns its place and which one doesn't. That's what I bring to every cut.
Earned the Hard Way
The experience behind every cut was earned on real productions, tight deadlines, and demanding clients who needed it right, not just done. Working with Lucasfilm, Sony, and The Orphanage means I already know how to stay calm under pressure, adapt fast, and manage big personalities without losing the story. You get someone who can focus entirely on your highest priority work, because I've already done the hard part of learning how.

The Work
A mix of narrative, brand, and timeless story, each one built around the same question: what does this story need to feel like, and where does that feeling live in the footage?
